Great opportunity for a self-motivated, highly computer literate, technically savvy agriculturist. Must hold a BSc / BTech qualification in Agriculture, Botany, Forestry or related. Ideally have experience setting up field trials & ability to follow field trial protocols. SA citizen with a valid driver’s license, ability to converse in Afrikaans, willing to travel, disciplined & hard working.
Location:  KZN Midlands
Salary: Entry level with the potential for this to increase within the first couple years.

Our client is a well-established, technology driven SA company. With a track record of over 20 years of developing and selling niche, technical products with herbicide application, they service the agriculture and forestry market selling to private and government clients. Your role will include setting up, monitoring and collecting data from field trials for herbicide product assessment and registration. All trials are conducted in collaboration with clients. The role will also include drone trials, where training will be offered. Other responsibilities may include trial planning & preparation, data capture & analysis, reporting and ad hoc administration.
    • BSc, BSc Hons or Masters (MSc) in Agriculture, Botany or Forestry related discipline
    • Experience with field trials highly advantageous
    • Highly computer literate & technically savvy
    • Willing to work hard
    • Willing to travel extensively within your region
    • South African citizenship
    • Valid driver’s license
    • Languages: English and Afrikaans essential
