Tertiary qualified: BSc Honours / BTech / MSc in Chemistry / Biochemistry / relevant,

with 2~5 years of sales / customer focused experience, HPLC or GC experience, must have outstanding command of English language, confidence to engage with customers, self-driven & a self-starter. Own car + driver’s license essential. **Only CT based candidates considered.

Our client, a well-established laboratory supply company are expanding their team and require a self-motivated, confident, presentable scientist in the position of Internal Technical Sales Consultant. The position will include managing a defined local territory, liaising with clients remotely and in person, developing new business leads, maintaining current client relationships, and assisting with marketing and demonstrations when required. The candidate will ideally be accustomed to working in a sales & / customer focused role, with a strong technical background in chemistry. Relevant hands-on skills in a chromatography lab environment, working with lab-based instrumentation in either: chemistry, biochemistry, water testing, or pharmaceutical sciences. The focus will be on the sales of a range of chemistry and chromatography related labware and consumables.

REQUIREMENTS

·        BTech / BSc Honours / MSc in Chemistry, Chemical Technology or related

·        2 ~ 5 years working experience in sales &/ dealing with customers/clients

·        Working experience in a lab environment using chromatography

·        Confident & friendly with excellent communication skills in English

·        Highly computer literate using MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook),

·        Strong technical & administrative skills, organised & efficient approach

·        Self-motivated, action-oriented, driven to succeed, accountable.
